Hey there! My name is SloRide or Gnomie AKA Roy Snelson, National President and 1 of the 4 founders of the SSMM. I have been married to my beautiful wife Charlotte for 18 years, father of the Turtle and dad (Heather and Lee Ann) or pops (Chris and Kesha) to several others. I have 4 grands that call me Meaney and several others that I play the grand dad role to. I was born and raised in Charleston SC and moved to Hendersonville NC in 2009 to follow a call to ministry. While here the Lord birthed the SSMM. I am a graduate of St Andrews Parish High and Trident Technical College. My study of focus was business but have several automotive based classes. I am the property manager at The Salvation Army of Hendersonville NC. The Salvation Army is my home church and where I am very active in many aspects of ministry. I lead the praise and worship team, play in the brass band and just about anything else that is asked of me. If you do not have a church home, we would love to have you come and visit. The SSMM has been a blessing in the fact that it is a natural answer to the call God placed on my life. I get to minister through service and sharing my testimony and the bonus is I can do it from my Harley! I am blessed to call the SSMM members my family. God bless and Ride Safe!!
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
My name is Tank, aka Scott Justus. 1 of 4 founding members of the Sons of the Savior M/M and the National Vice President, Genesis Chapter in Hendersonville, NC. I was born in Hendersonville, a native of Henderson County for 53 years and counting. Graduated from West Henderson High and attended Blue Ridge Community College. I left BRCC with a certificate in auto body repair. Been married a couple times and I am spending the rest of my life loving my Queen (Manda) and serving the Lord in the way He leads me. I have 2 grown boys Dylan and Nicolas both who love the Lord. I've been employed at a couple of different manufactures in the area over the years before making a decision to focus on public service. In 1995 I started my volunteer career in the fire service and became a certified NC Firefighter/EMT, Certified Driver Operator, and Technical Rescuer. I started my paid career in firefighting in 2015 and currently I am a Lieutenant and the Fire and Life Safety Educator at Fletcher Fire and Rescue. My focus is on fire prevention through education. As a firefighter I get the opportunity to share my faith with people who are struggling. My love of motorcycles started in my childhood. I was 5 years old when my older brother got a minibike for Christmas. We rode the bike until the wheels actually fell off. My dad fixed the wheels and I rode it until I outgrew it. I've always had some sort of bike or atv. In 2002 I purchased a 2002 Honda CBR954RR. For 8 years I truly loved that bike. I tell ya that bike was like riding a bullet. However my love of speed was going to kill me if I didn't change my riding style, so I sold the Honda and bought myself a beautiful 2000 Harley Roadking (fireball). I have thousands of miles enjoying Gods country on that Roadking. My current ride is a 2011 Street Glide. Sharing my faith in Jesus while riding is the mission plan for my ministry. Be an example that bikers are not all bad. Let God in and He will direct your path. To read the word of God is to be the word of God. Hold fast! My life verse is Psalms 119:9 where shall a young man cleans his way, but by taking heed according to His word. I pray the lost will find Jesus, the hurt will trust in the healing power of Jesus' blood. Humble yourself, love and trust Jesus. Be an obedient servant of Christ. God bless you all! A sinner saved by grace, Tank
My name is Charlotte Snelson, I have been married for 18 years to my wonderful husband Roy Snelson. I am a mother of three girls and grandmother (JJ) to two granddaughters and a grandson. I still have one at home and “the Turtle” is the baby of the family. I am blessed with three strong and outspoken women; I can call my girls. I am the national secretary and the national women’s chaplain. I have had the enjoyment of working for a company that allows me to put my family first. A little of my background: I grew up in four different states and had an exceedingly difficult childhood. One of my favorite sayings is “but GOD”! I have broken the cycle of poverty and I have been able to use my experience to help others do the same. My husband was a major part in that cycle, ending for me and my siblings. I fully believe our relationship was part of God’s plan. or the both of us. Looking back, you can see his hand in our life. With the current result of celebrating 18 years of marriage and 10 years of Sons of the Savior. I am the last of the original women that joined at the start, but I have enjoyed welcoming in the new ladies to the group. I am looking forward to seeing were God leads us in the next 10 years.

My name is Professor, AKA Chris Stepp. I am national sergeant at arms for the Sons of the Savior M/M Genesis chapter Hendersonville N.C. I was born in Hendersonville and a native of Henderson county. I graduated from north Henderson high school. I attended blue ridge community college where I obtained certificates in small business management and heavy duty diesel repair. I was blessed to marry my best friend and the person that keeps me grounded cupcake AKA Jessica Stepp. We have been married almost 19 years and have been blessed with three awesome children. Joshua, Liana, and Braxton. I have worked for many local truck repair centers and dealerships Jessica and I even ventured out and ran our own repair shop for 6 years before I found the place I call home at Sumter utilities where I have gotten to put all of my skills to the test as field service supervisor overseeing a great group of technicians covering the entire south eastern U.S. I grew up in a very close family that was very Christian based but after high school I found my way far Away from the word and looking for answers to all of life’s problems in all the wrong places especially the bottom of a bottle. That is when I met cupcake and she saved me from a lot of my demons after Jessica and I got settled into a normal life and started our little family she pushed me to be a better man and father getting me back on track and in the word of our lord and savior and back to a church family. Despite being in church I struggled to find what felt like home in a church that’s when three things came to light that the lord gave me. Bethel Wesleyan church was first on that list and pastor Tim was exceptional at making people feel welcome and free of judgement. Second on that list was a simple invite from a brother that rode with me to a sons event (thank you Shawn Briggs) and that is where life as I knew it feeling alone and uncertain came to an abrupt end. Everyone in the sons of the savior welcomed us in and low and behold we had so much in common. Then third came the Salvation Army and all the wonderful people involved in that organization that pushed me to get even closer to God and get out of my comfort zone. Sons of the savior is a part of my life forever now and even my kids have dedicated themselves to the sons which makes me the happiest dad in the world watching my kids learn and grow in the word getting closer with God. I grew with the sons pretty rapidly watching everyone work with people outside of the ministry stopping to pray with strangers and having godly conversations with people inspired me to do better be a better person and do what our lord asked us to do and spread the word and love of Jesus Christ.
